Transfeed DEC, a new TMR feeding robot for cattle, is the pinnacle of all feeding preparation and distribution systems for dairy bovines.  Transfeed DEC means better quality of life and efficiency of dairy farms. The distributor of ensilage and concentrate allows the feeding of animals several times a day, individually or in groups. The feeding robot stands out through remarkable flexibility and the low energy requirement of only 2,2 KW. Clear savings in labour time and energy costs, as well as improved milk yield means more money for the dairy farmer.

Sow management: Schauer innovations for group housing such as improvements on free-access crates and an upgrade of the world champion in electronic sow feeding systems, Compident (with software for Windows), has inspired many pig farmers.

The EU transitional period for restructuring to group housing systems for housing  sows in pig lasts only 3 years. Fortunately, besides Schauer’s Compident ESF for large sow groups there are solutions for small groups too, that are proven and have been tested in practice. The free-access crates are crate stands designed for group housing. If desired there is a combined timer and feeding mechanism for stress-free feeding in groups. There is a special design of insemination-friendly free-access crates available with insemination door integrated in the BH-box. Service area and dry sow house can be combined without the need to move sows. An alternative solution for feeding sows in small groups individually (up to 20 sows per feeding point) is Compident Simultan. Feeding and management software of Compident VI (for large groups) and Compident Simultan (for small groups) are identical.

Compident allows profitable group housing of sows. After many years of successful practical use, the Model VI has been re-engineered to become Model VII. All proven technical features have been integrated and new very user-friendly and service-friendly features added. Compident is licensed world-wide and DLG and BVET certified. This emphasises the power, readiness and meaning of the functionality of Compident for worldwide application in welfare-friendly and professional sow management. A new sensor selects the animals with lost or defective ear tags from the group.
The open design allows optimum lighting conditions and makes it even wellness friendlier. TELECON improves the user-friendliness as it allows radio control of important features of the station.

Schauer Agrotronic has supplied the German regional office of pig breeding Boxberg with the Spotmix multiphase feeding system. Four fattening houses have been reconstructed at the LSZ Boxberg location. `
Thanks to Spotmix animal performance can be analysed much more accurately.

The dry sow house has been equipped with Compident ESF. The application of Spotmix multiphase feeding  means exact dry feed dosage according to feeding curves for the farrowing and service area.
